Co-Owner, Technical Director

Dr. George Chamberlain is an aquaculture expert with broad experience working with hatcheries, farms, feed mills, processors and seafood companies in some 30 countries around the world. In 1999, he and Kenneth Morrison started Black Tiger Aquaculture, a forerunner of iAqua, in Malaysia.

Chamberlain previously directed the international aquaculture program for Ralston Purina Co. In 1998, he moved to Monsanto to develop a program for genetic selection, soy-based feeds, and sustainable shrimp pond systems. Chamberlain holds degrees in marine fish aquaculture and penaeid shrimp reproduction from Texas A & M University.

In 1997, Chamberlain assisted in founding the Global Aquaculture Alliance, a non-profit trade association dedicated to advancing environmentally and socially responsible aquaculture, and continues to serve as its president.
